Privacy Policy

1. Introduction
Shein Images Downloader (the “Extension,” “Service,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) helps users select and download product images, videos and available variant media from supported Shein product detail pages. This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed when you use the Extension and this website, why it is processed and the choices available to you.
Local-first product media processing
Product-media detection, selection, file naming, ZIP creation and CSV generation take place in your browser. We do not operate a server-side media proxy, and we do not upload your generated ZIP or CSV files to our servers.
2. Product Page and Media Data
When you open the downloader on a supported product page, the Extension may process information exposed to your browser by that page, including:
- The current product URL, product ID and page title
- Product image and video URLs, thumbnails and video posters
- Media associated with available product variants
- Product-page data needed to group, display and deduplicate media
This information is used inside the Extension to show available media and create downloads requested by you. Media files are requested from Shein or its media delivery domains and saved through your browser's download system.
3. Files Created by the Extension
- Individual images and videos are saved directly to your selected browser download location.
- Batch media may be saved to a named folder or packaged into a ZIP in your browser.
- CSV reports are generated in your browser and may contain Product ID, Image URLs, Video URLs, Local Image Paths and Local Video Paths.
- Generated downloads are not stored on our servers by the Extension.
4. Account Information
The Extension requires sign-in to use its downloading features. When you create or use an account, we may process:
- Your email address for authentication, account access and support
- Your name or avatar if you choose to provide them
- Account status, subscription status and entitlement information
- Billing-related status such as active, cancelled, expired or past due
- Support requests and feedback you choose to send
5. Extension Settings and Local Storage
The Extension uses browser storage to remember essential state between sessions. Stored information may include:
- Folder, ZIP, media and CSV file-name templates
- Your user-created multi-product URL queue
- Bulk-processing options, such as queue settings
- Cached extension configuration and available plan information
- Authentication and subscription state needed to provide account features
You can remove locally stored extension data through your browser's extension or site-data controls, though doing so may sign you out and reset saved settings.
6. Payments and Subscriptions
Paid subscriptions are processed by secure third-party payment providers, which may include Paddle or PayPal. We do not store your full payment card details. Payment providers process transaction and billing information under their own privacy policies. We may receive subscription identifiers, payment status, renewal dates, cancellation status and other information needed to provide Pro access.
7. How We Use Information
- Provide product-media detection, downloads, ZIP creation and CSV export
- Authenticate users and maintain account sessions
- Verify Free or Pro access and manage subscription status
- Save settings and maintain a user-created bulk queue
- Deliver configuration needed for supported product pages
- Respond to support requests and feedback
- Prevent misuse and protect the reliability and security of the Service
8. Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information or your product-media selections. We may share limited information only when necessary with:
- Service providers: hosting, authentication, support and infrastructure providers that help operate the Service
- Payment providers: to process subscriptions, cancellations and billing-related events
- Authorities or legal parties: when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety and service security
- Business successors: in connection with a merger, acquisition or transfer, subject to appropriate safeguards
9. Third-Party Services and Websites
The Service may interact with or link to third parties, including:
- Shein websites and media servers: used to display and retrieve product media available to your browser
- Chrome Web Store: used to distribute and update the Extension
- Payment providers: used for secure subscription checkout and billing management
- Content delivery services: this website currently loads fonts and interface assets from third-party CDNs
- YouTube: embedded demonstrations may load content from YouTube when you visit or play them
Third-party services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their independent data practices.
10. Data Retention
Local settings remain in browser storage until you change them, clear extension data or uninstall the Extension. We retain account, subscription and support data only for as long as reasonably needed to provide the Service, maintain records, resolve disputes, prevent abuse and comply with legal obligations.
11. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including encrypted HTTPS connections and access controls, to protect account and service data. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed. You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and downloaded files.
12. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion or restriction of certain personal information. You may also:
- Update or delete locally stored settings through your browser
- Cancel a subscription from the Pro tab or by contacting support
- Request information about account data we process
- Contact us with a privacy question or request
13. Cookies and Website Logs
We do not use the Extension to track your browsing across unrelated websites. This website may generate ordinary server logs needed for security and reliable delivery, such as IP address, request time, requested page and browser information. Essential local storage may be used for account and extension operation.
14. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.
15. International Users
Our service providers may process account or service data in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers. Product media downloaded by you remains on your device unless you choose to share it elsewhere.
16. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect service, legal or operational changes. The “Last updated” date identifies the latest revision. Your continued use after an update is subject to the revised policy.
